this entry is about a woman i greatly love but never told her so....

sis.. i'm talking about you! =)

oh well... we were eating our dinner at the table just now when the Channel8 news was on.
there's this news about this year's Great Singapore Sale being the most successful in the last 12years... (whoa.. GSS so old liao meh?!)





Me: "whoa... GSS so successful sia... i only contributed around $18 bucks for a FreshBox tee at Bugis..." (speaking between mouthfuls)
Sis: *shrugs* "i forgot how much i have spent.." (nonchalant tone)
Me: O.o





mmm... yup! that's my sis for you! perhaps the only person i know able to rival her is STELLA YEO of 04S91!!!! *earth begins to rumble and shake* and i concluded bishi is simply not in the same league......................................................YET....=p

i realised i'm one of the very few guys (along with berdie, gene and ernie) who actually enjoys shopping! (shopping for my stuff and WITH PURPOSE that is...)

i remember there was this time i went to look for my sis at a clothes boutique. the sales-girls there calls her by name!






BY NAME!






i know it aint uncommon for some of you out there... BUT for a person who is ALWAYS refered to as "boy ah" or at MOST "sir" or an occasional "yandao" *grinz* (i know they are poor liars but who cares~ i like it!=p) during his shopping trips, hearing his own sister being called by NAME is simply............................. wow?

heh..

and they call her up everytime a new consignment of clothes arrives.

i wonder when will retail shops call me... (by phone and by NAME)

*rings*

"harlo?"
"hello Mr Dickson Mr Lim! i'm Albert from FUTURA Men's boutique.."
(brightens up)
"yesh?" :)
"i'm calling to inform you that....."
:D
"..you have an outstanding bill yet to.... hello? Mr Lim? hello? hello....................."

it feels great to see you happy. and it pains me to see you down.
i hate being helpless.. i wish i can do something. anything. =(
