back at long last.
i'm back from my kayaking trip! =) finally got my one-star qualification! along with eugene, weiyang and jielin.. pity bishi pulled out of the course due to her other commitments. but too bad! we had a whale of a time!
however, no thanks to the blasted weather, we were deprived of our favored sunny conditions.. hence our initial aim of getting a nice tan was ruined! =x
kudos to yang and myself who capsized the very first moment we placed our butts into the cockpit, DESPITE our prior experience.. =( and jielin's uncontollable spinning! which yang cant help but TRIED to offer his so-called "help" of smiling/laughing.. heh! =p gene... not much happening except being punk'd by me. fancy him believing that i revealed his number to that SPECIAL girl in the course! WA-HA-HEH-HO! =D
anyway, our instructor Uncle Vincent was really good man! but our kayaks, a really primitive and basic model- the Dancer, really sucked. i really do feel like a novice despite leading my kids out to the open sea before in camps... noob cake leh~ anyway, after reaching home, i still have this feeling of floating and swaying. some seriously retarded brain signal is telling me i'm still out in the sea!
and yes, i proven to EVERYONE *ahem* that me, moi, i,wo, lim peh do NOT snore! only complain coming from jielin that my breathing was loud. well... a souped-up/zhng-ed car's engine cant sound like a wimpy scooter right?
anyway, my darling's back! after hearing her stories about how her trip was, i was both worried and happy at the same time.
worried upon knowing how dangerous and tough it was, especially when she nearly came face-to-face with the grim reaper.. =x
happy that it turned out to be an enriching trip and very much of an eye-opener. as an outdoor instructor, i would say the trip achieved its objective with regards to my darling.. =)
pardon me... but we didnt get the chance to meet up for 5days! =( so we finally met up today! =D
she's thinner and more tanned.
me? fatter and fatter.
and it really feels good to hug her again. =) as much as i portrayed myself otherwise, i was really glad to have her by my side again. and i bet she feels the same way too! right dear? *nudge*
