meeting the parents are ALWAYS tough no matter what.

yeah.. i met jie's mother today! *a chorus of gasps was heard*
oh yes.. i was just as shocked as you guys are. for those who dont really know her mum well.. i can summarise her in a single picture...

i didnt plan to meet her mum today. never did. not even for a milisecond but i guess i was kind of worried about jie. and i found two small marbles that give me even more balls to do it! the thing is i didnt like to do things that will jeoparized my first impression or make jie look bad. but oh well, i'm glad none of that happened. =)

once i reached her house, her mum immediately strapped me to her kitchen chair and brought out two leather whips connected me to this lie detector..

her mum: do you have any ulterior motives about my daughter?
me: er.. no.
*beeping sound*
her mum: wrong choice son....

ok.. sorry i couldnt resist it! =p
oh.. it went rather ok.. i was a bundle of nerves! however, i guess my confident inner-self kicked into auto-pilot mode and voila! i sweet-talked her into letting me marry her daughter. (cant you guys take a joke?)

do not panic.

all in all, i guess it went pretty well. i attributed it to my charms and eloquence, not to forget the not-so-subtle prompts from dear! hahahaz...=) her mum perceived me as a eloquent speaker who is.. er... refined.(si wen in her own words) so now if anyone calls me crude, i'll go..

"screw off ASSHOLE! my girlfriend's mum calls me si wen!
dig that you bloody little sucka!"

and top it off with my favourite finger. see? i'm so si wen.


bishi irritated the hell out of me today. bah! and she's constantly making fun of me, with frequent references to jie... ok! you owe me one, bishi! mmm... on the accord of our friendship, make that TWO.

oh.. i have an interview due tommorrow with Sony. gene and i will both be going. wish me luck guys! which just reminds me, thanks michelle. it was a touching gesture, for thet i decided not to be angry with you fighting with me over jie for a grand total of 10seconds. (roughly the time you take to read this paragraph)

oh! dear... you know what you owe me. *grinz* =p
