i'm short-listed for OCS cross-over!

WOO~ heh! =)
though the chances of my cross-over is close to zero (coutesy of my A'Levels), but the fact that i'm in the list is good enough for me already. =)

anyway, i just took my IPPT. got a comfortable Silver. =D
no way i can attain Gold for i can't even run to save my own life... =/

life in SISPEC isn't as bad as i expected it to be.. SO FAR, as i thought it'll be very physically and mentally demanding... but yeah, the first four weeks turned out rather ok. SO FAR~

my section movement in the field will start next week... (my apologises if some of you people might not understand this) now THAT'S what i will expect to be tough. stay tuned to see if i'm right.. =x

till now, i'll handled quite a range of weapons and set off several forms of explosives! the adrenaline rush is.. WOW~

it's really KA-BOOM for real!!!

what's pirate ship and roller-coasters? *nonchalant shrug*

most of my instructors don't speak fantastic english. their linguistic abilities, in english conversations, are about as high as my determination to get out of my bed after 21hours of training in a single day... (i'm not kidding; both about the 21hours and thier engrish...)

one example of such are as follows:

angry Company Sergeant Major (CSM): Gentlemen! i note that alot of you people is not putting out enough effort in your training.
us: *kangaroo kena spotlight* look
CSM: nebermind... in the following month, you all will understand what SISPEC Charlie company is about....
(he then goes on and on....)
CSM: not to worry.. if you make a mistakes, we will be around to pleasure you.
us: *kangaroo kena spotlight* look

after 2seconds of silence

us: *kangaroo kena VERY bright spotlight* look
CSM: we are pleasure you till you break....
us: *kangaroo kena freaking FLOOD-light* look
CSM: more pleasure than you feel when you study for all your exams when school that time....

we then realised pleasure = PRESSURE.
freaking hell. i thought i got drafted into some gay concentration camps... =s

we, people in the army, are normally so freaking bored we'll think of anything and EVERYTHING....

we can spend half a day debating what is the best way to get rid a black stain on the floor.
and of course.. the holy word in camps.

yes, Sex.

two of my bunk mates MUST have at least 1hour's discussion on this topic per day. i SWEAR i took NO part in their conversation. i merely listen in to the interesting points... =p
they are like living/talking Karma Sutras! =x

and most of the commanders over there don't evert use full-stops, commas or whatever punctuations... instead, they punctuates their sentences by using vuglarities... =x

that's the normal dosage of vulgarities we are subjected to in a half an hour lesson.
with each symbol representing 1 string of expletives.. (mostly in hokkien, the unoffical national languages for bengs and the Army)

we had a map-navigating evercise at Lower Mandai Forest for two days. whoa.. it was so freaking, tiring, scary and interesting at the same time. we were so lost at one point of time that we walked for 3hours straight through thick vegetation, getting cut by thorns and stucked countless times without the slightest idea of our location...

kena hol-lan sia~ o.O?!
(read: something close to "hopelessly lost"..)

the jungle can be an eerie place in the dead of the night.. bRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

my little girl have been very busy with her projects lately.
seeing her shuffle between school, work, family and me. it overwhelms me sometimes.

life juggling on tight-rope, in heels

as my admiration for her grows with each passing day, so does my growing feeling of incompetence and helplessness.

dear, hang in there.
let's await the rainbow. for, then it will all be clear.

*hugz*

anyway, this week have really been an emotional roller-coaster for me. i've gone from way highs to an extreme lows in a matter of days. my life hasn't been all rainbows and butterflies lately..

then again who has?

sidenote:
it hurts. and it is still hurting.
somehow i wish i can do more.
but i can't.

i hate an army life.
