it baffles me at times too

"if God invented marathons to keep people
 from doing something more stupid,
triathlons must have taken Him
completely by surprise."

-P.Z. Pearce

i was just talking to some runners and triathletes the other day, i guess no "sane people" can really understand how we feel towards the sport and the training involved.

the pain, the sacrifices, the joys, the highs and the lows. the real deal. the whole deal.

the uneasy and sickening feeling you get when you can't train/run, even if it's for a day.

i'm only a novice, a.k.a. weekend warrior, and i already feel so much for and about it. it's hard to imagine what the more serious players are going through.

one might ask, "what's the point of pushing your body to the point of intense pain and exhaustion for hours?"

try it. you will know what i mean.

sidenote:
i'm just so lazy to do a proper entry! =(
