shanshine

today, i got woken up at around 3.40am after a rather scary nightmare (which i have almost no recollections of! just know it involves a devil.. =x), checked my handphone, no goodnight text from her. yet.

1st thing that came to my mind: she really is nocturnal.

called her to find that she's talking to our very good friend cum match-maker, siew ee, who happens to be going through a rough patch in her life now. =( we talked till about 5am with her.

after siew ee went off to sleep, both of us realised that it's crazy and impractical to meet up at freaking 5am in the morning, but i guess both of us badly wanted to. 

we just need one reason. any one.

she suggested breakfast, i suggested sunrise.

next thing we know, we were driving towards changi airport to catch our first sunrise together.

as the glaring yellow yolk peers out from the clouds, i held her and took a mental snapshot of the whole picture: one of nature's most amazing sights with my most cherished girl.
