HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY DEAR!!!! =D

you made me proud.

from the 30th oct to the 1st nov, trainees from both the specialist and basic course went to the puny island of Palau Tekong to go through Exercise Moonlight Marshall . it was a 2days 1night exercise consisting of 3 missions which requires us to work our asses off through the night, depriving us of our sleep and pushing us to our physical and mental limits.
for us who have been through SISPEC, we have experienced fatigue and sleep-deprived on a tougher Exercise before so EMM wasn't so bad for us. but it really took a toll on some of the basic trainees.. many fell asleep in the unlikiest of places; freezing in weirdest of positions in the middle of the night. some actually do look like statues of gargoyles off the set of a scary movie.. =x
but i must say most of us did rather well the exercise. i also got to see the ugly side of many, including those of superiors, which is really disappointing.
Monday, 6th November, will be my Graduation day for my MP Spec 02 course. i already know my next posting: Sembawang NDU camp. i'm not exactly sure of my job scope there but apparently it'll be a EXTREMELY slack and mundane posting. =(
to be frank, i'm pretty upset when i heard of my posting. worst of all, the posting will mean that i'll be posted out of MP Mowbray camp where most of my fellow specs will be stationed at.
i'm really sadden by the fact that i wouldnt be seeing much of them soon..
sigh... that's life i guess.
i'm not exactly in the best of moods nowadays... feeling kind down. my whole day today was spent in a state of sadness i have been thinking alot of the future and the picture doesnt look very rosy now. i'm just very worried.. if i'm going down, i don't wish to drag anyone along.

as i've mentioned before, i wasn't able to spend jie's birthday together with her as i'll be away at Palau Tekong for Exercise Moonlight Marshall, which is my final summary exercise for my specialist course. so my dear girl have to spend the day without a decent celebration. =(
and to make it worse, things weren't going too well for her in hockey on that day to say the least.
i'm sorry i'm not there with you... the feeling must have really sucked. =(
anyway on a brighter note, Chen Weijie is now the Captain of Singapore Polytechnic'c hockey team! =D
