a post a little late..

it's last year since i last blogged (sounds long but...), so much have happened since i last penned down my thoughts and musings in this little blog of mine. it was partially due to the fact that it normally takes an hour plus for me to complete each entry of a decent length; probably due to the time spent recalling my jumbled thoughts and finding the right words to best express my feelings. And also because i was experiencing such a diversed array of emotions that i couldnt bring myself to write them all down.

it's like blogging about eating the best Nasi Lemak in the afternoon while you're suffering from food poisoning due to a lousy plate of spoilt pasta during dinner.

the mixed emotions that grips me sometimes resulted in a writer's block.
there are also times where i'm not free.

the remaining times when i do feel like blogging, i decided not to waste time on typing but to do something worthwhile! something meaniful!

then, i proceed to.. erm.. do nothing.

Welcome to year 2007

yeah yeah.. i know it rather, if not very, late for me to say this, but it feels the same each time when 31st Dec rolls on to 1st Jan; i didnt grow any taller, get any more money in my flaccid bank account OR get the latest model of D.A.D.™ by
I-love-my-kids-and-will-let-them-do-anything PTE LTD.

basically, things just feels the same to me. only highlight being that i'm able to catch the beautiful fireworks display as the clock strike 12, together with my dearest girlfriend. and i'm happy that it's our 2nd time watching it together. =)

oh! our date on new year's eve was entirely paid for by her! hahaz.. i guess my face just got alot whiter! =p (note: little white face, in chinese, is a reference to males who lives off their female companions) we caught a movie screening of National Treasure at Asian Civilisation Museum.
the movie, National Treasure, though already 2year's old, was really enjoyable. it's something like a less complicating version of the Da Vinci Code.

after the movie, we toured the ACM and view the exhibits before heading for a leisurely walk along the scenic (but crowded) Singapore River. like i've mentioned earlier, we caught the fireworks display along the banks of Singapore River but our view was partially blocked by The Fullerton. basket.. %$#@!!!!

oh well.. we really enjoyed ourselves that way. no fancy dinners or presents.
just the two of us! =)

there are times where relationships will be put to test..
let's just say one of those times arrived rather untimely but we pulled through.


and i'm glad we did.

some photos we took
during Xmas and New Year.
but till i get it from my darling girl,
there'll be none! =x
