here i am at jurong MacDonald's trying my best to be a good boy and finish my assignment that is due in 8days, but me being me decided to take a short break and blog! =)

anyway, today i did what i haven't done in the last 3years, i actually ask someone out to study! *gasp* well.. my study partner for today is the pixie-sized Liqi! =) she's one of the few people i've studied with who can be more easily distracted than me! ha! anyway, i managed to complete what i intended to today so i can afford to relax a little. she, on the other hand, is preparing for her final exam in her final semester in year 2! heh.. i feel so relaxed compared to her! =D

anyway, congrats to jielin for completing her year 2! freaking fast lah.. it felt like yesterday when we hugged each other after receiving our O'level results! and she's going into year 3 in about a week's time! i know that Ziwan, Liqi and alot more people out there are still in the midst or have yet to start their exams. jiayou yeah people!

i'm beginning to like my class more as time passes. =) but i do know that some people will only show their true selves during tough times (read: project time!) so let's hope T106 (my class) will be as good as they seem! 

i met weijie a couple of days back for lunch at Subway, where she gave me the gifts she got from her China trip! thanks! =)

then on friday, JEZ (short for jielin, zihao, eugene) finally met up after 10years. we had a fabulous tan lunch at Marina Square's Pizza Hut! the service was really really good, i somehow feel like i'm some celebrity food-critic who will determine if the outlet get their Michelin Stars. they are just so eager to please! it's the first time i had someone from Pizza Hut asking me if how's the food! and they got me my iced water the moment my soda was drained! wth?! am i lunching at some fancy restaurant in St Regis?

bishi, your absence is surely and deeply felt! we miss you! come backkkkkkkkk (soon)! afterwhich, we went to watch this cockernathan movie called Harold and Kumar. Boobs, penises, vaginas, racism, political statements and sex among all the other issues raised. goodness, this film certainly worked well and hard to earn their M18 rating! ha! anyway, it's pure mindless laughter with this oddly sentimental and abrupt ending! good to destress, not good to spend 10bucks on. =x

i'm sure many of you know that Eugene is going the Tri-way. nope it doesnt concern a possible threesome, as kinky as "tri-way" might sound. He's training to become a triathlete! *faints* For those who have been to the gun-start of a race (be it marathon, biathlon, triathlon or any other lon...), it's more like a mass gang-bang rather than a threesome! sounds good? imagine getting shove around by sweaty bodies of THE SAME GENDER (i'm all for sweaty bodies of a different gender!), elbows/legs/feets in your face while swimming.. no joke! Gene, you're mad. come back to sanity.

Anyway, back to the JEZ outing! our Mr Tri needs to go home for a night run, so jielin and myself went to bugis to shop. more accurately, i shop she accompany. heh.. then i brought her to this restaurant where i know whips up this wonderful fried hokkien mee! somehow, it didnt taste quite as good that day, which i suspect the fact that we're rather full played a part in determining its taste. and greedy me decided to order stringray! i love stringray but the one that came TASTE LIKE CRAP. it's tough, rough and... er.. tough! no nice, no like! =( 

After shoving the stringray down our throats, our mid-sections have ballooned considerably, so we have to abandon our plans of trying this dessert house "ji de chi" (which means Remember to eat!) which i know was featured on television some time back. next time! we'll go next time! =) 

i really enjoyed the day! =)  

by the way, i spoke to berd's girlfriend, Lydia, to ask about a possible part-time job at ClimbAsia! hope i can get it! =) and berd is out backpacking in Europe for one month plus! rich kids... if only i have the chance too. =(

i spoke to my tutors regarding my trip to China. sigh. loads of mixed feelings. 

somehow i think only ziwan can understand that, though i didnt tell her much too.

damn. i'm suffering from a headache from all that dilemma!
