i hate chemistry in sec sch

as some of you may know, i've gone out on a date with miss "birkenstock".

we can hold a decent conversation together but i guess it all boils down to my most hated subject during my white-shorts-showing-hairy-legs days.

chemistry.

or rather, the lack of it.

1st date jitters or not, i think the initial connection must be present. at least, that's what works for me. many have told me to give it a 2nd go.

we shall see.

i've gotten my 2XU running tights! excitedly, i tried it on and went to my sis's room to check it out. (her room is the only one with a huge-ass mirror)

her response:

"you look like gay armstrong."

wtf.

and i've ordered new saucony running shoes to take the stress off my trusty asics during my training! =)

saucony progrid guide! nice eh? it was the same pair we got for yang for his birthday. 

New Balance Real Run 15k in 6days' time! i'm still contemplating whether to take it seriously or take it as a training run to clock mileage.

today was the 1st day back to school after 2 years months. 

1st day blues...

unlike any other polytechnics, ngee ann have the dubious honour of being the only polytechnic (does RP have this too?) which actually have a PE lesson equivalent module called Sports & Wellness. it's kinda stupid but i rejoiced when i found that there's a class specially dedicated to gym work!

which is great! that means i can work on my weak hamstrings, quads and calf muscle group! =) but, with my long training runs on sundays, i'll have to deal with soreness on monday's gym sessions. no time for recovery leh...

on a separate note,  V and me managed to dupe the himbo fitness instructor so she could join me, even though there's apparently no more empty slots left for the course.

AND i get to meet v and manda today! it's just great to talkcocksingsongplaymahjong with them again after, like, forever. i love these 2 girls. (eme, WHERE YOU?!)

oh yes, i spent 2 hours trying to download some compulsory programs into my mac. 2 freaking hours. half of which was spent fantasizing about manda's friend - Miss F. HA!

so much for my 4GB ram.
