better

yup i have more or less recovered from the bloody gastric flu after taking enough pills to knock an elephant into a deep slumber. today i felt well enough to go on some window shopping on my own.

now my main target is to find a big backpack to stuff my running gear, toiletries and running shoes, on top of all the notes and laptop i have to bring to school. so i guess i'll be looking at a 30-35 litres backpack. 

to all my classmates/friends reading this:

will i look like an idiot lugging a big-ass bag to 

school a-la hiking/camping-trip-style?

i've checked out several brands and so far MountainSmith/Columbia (both freaking ex), Solomon (quite ex), Tatonka (zip linings will peel) and Deuter (too common) all appeals to me but have their respective (disadvantages).

when i was on my way back from Orchard, i heard my name being shouted. 

BUT then again, i always been in such situations before, where it usually turns out that the other party was saying/calling/shouting words like "so HOW?", "then HOW?", "like that HOW?" or even "HOWwww..?"

so i did a quick scan and found this sweet-looking girl by the name of RUIYI and this time it's not my ears playing tricks on me at least. 

i must have looked like this...

cos ruiyi's friend quickly said "see lah! you scared him!"

then all i could managed was just a smile and a wave goodbye. =x

anyway, i've been approached by so-called modeling agencies and model scouts for at least 3 times these 2 weeks. so here's something to everyone: DON'T be happy when you get approach by them 'cos.... I'VE BEEN TOO.

on monday, i was approached again so i decided to play along.

*taps on my shoulder*

"Hello Sir, i think you're suitable to be one of the models at my agency. we're looking at people with your profile and image."

"oh really? but i'm already a model"

"i see.. which agency are you from?"

"ohhh.. i was the before model for an acne cream commercial some time back."

it took like, what, 2 seconds for her to digest what i just said.

then, the look on her face was, how should i put it, hmmm.. CLASSIC! =)
