Happy Mooncake Festival! =)

i always remember that the mooncake festival as one of the most look-forward-to festival in the lunar calender, alongside with Chinese New Year of course. MF was like one of the only times the we children can let out our inner fiery nature and play with fire openly. AND, for reason unknown, the adults will just sit back, relac and allow us to revel in the joy of fire/lantern-playing.

my personal favourite part will be to "accidently" allowing the paper lantern to catch fire and somehow it'll end up in a "magical pre-dug" sand pit and somehow newspapers will "miraculously appear" and somehow be drafted into the blazing inferno due to the "sucking motion" of the blaze. *grin*

it's not long before all the combustible materials, that we can lay our tiny, tender and chubby hands on, end up fueling a fire which will make the Human Torch (part of F4, the better version) proud and neighborhood firemen groan.

those were the good old days...

sidenote:
i'm gettin far too old in actual years for my mental age...
