on my 2nd day as a soldier in BMTC School 2...

"so, what do you hope to achieve in the army?"
"sir, i hope to get into Officer Cadet School (OCS) sir."
"mmm... Good good! then you must work pretty hard you know?"
"yes sir, i'll do anything within and beyond what i can to achieve that goal."
"really glad you think that way! what are your A'Levels results?"
"sir, i failed badly sir."
"how bad?"
"way bad."
"partial As?"

"no sir. i got OOF."
"ok.. Recruit Lim, i'm really sorry to tell you this. by right you only have an O'Levels cert do you know that?"
"yes i am aware"
"OCS does not accept soldiers with O'Levels you know?"


WHAM! i just got hit by a 3-tonner.
