thumb-sucking...

time time time~
something i don't have in abundence nowadays.. hell i don't even have time to stop and smell the Singapore air. (which is,on the average, 2degrees lower than its tekong counterpart..)

this is the longest weekend in Singapore i had so far in my Army life, thanks to the Vesak Day holiday! =) and i get to sleep late in the comfort of my own bedroom.. (yes dear, it might be a single-size but it's cozy nontheless! hmpf!)

the day i booked out, thursday night, i managed to meet up with jie for a quick dinner, it was just a simple meal but i feel this sense of warmth which she never fails to generate in me.. =) With a tired body, i floated home. fuelled by the happiness in seeing her.

as usual, my mum was the one to lay the red carpet down for me. we exchanged the typical classic chinese conversation of "have you eat rice" and stuff like that... once i got into my house. WHAM! i almost got a heart attack! yang and leong were sitting pretty at the dining table, smirking.

"Happy Belated Birthday bro.." came the unexpected chorus between them.

wow.. using the words "surprise" and "happy" will not do justice to what they've done. but i have to say i really appreciated what thay've done. not to mention my dear girl, who collaborated with leong.

vesak day was a pretty boring day for me. i went to Bright Hill Monastry in the afternoon (Zihao's a buddhist?! thought he ate cheese burger that time?!! Go figure people..) wanted to meet up with meiyi in the afternoon but she was tied up.. guess i'll have to meet up with her later. =x sorry!

leong then accompanied me to the Army Market at Beach Road where we had a sinful meal of tulang.. gosh... army food is a far far far cry from the delicacies in singapore.

i'm going out with dear tommorrow! i cant hardly wait... =)

sidenote:
sorry i dont have the time to update on the 13th and the 14th.
but i really cherish the time dear and i get to spend together nowadays.. =)
