these few days have been rather uneventful so i'll try my best to juice whatever saucy interesting details from the past days! =)

went to the ever-reliable-for-great-shoes-deal Queensway shopping centre on thur with my silly girl. curse the rain which dampened my shopping mood while i was en route to clementi where i'll meet dear. thankfully, the rain took a break when i was about to reach!
hOOOooo~ meaning my meticulously-styled hair wouldn't be ruined by the rain and my newly-done nails wouldn't risked getting chipped by the umbrella handle! phew~ (joking lah! =p)

after some shopping with my girlfriend-cum-fashion-guru, i managed to get a pair which i was eyeing for quite sometime! thanks dear for being so accommodating.. =) the evening was basically all about me doing MY shopping.. she fought the impulse to turn it into yet another one of her shopping trips! =x (you didnt see that, darling~)

met up with gene on friday where he was at ICA, lavender for his passport renewal before heading to town. the reason behind the renewal wasnt some pointless trips to malaysia for sinful indulgences or a bank-breaking trip to some exotic country for a taste of their colourful nightlife!

the reason is a far more noble and interesting one...

he's going to Indonesia for a humanitarian trip with Singapore Armed Forces *groans* as a medic! *background: a touching track from some SAF propaganda flim*

fyi, he's leaving on 12th of feb and coming back on the 14th! Valentine's Day! show him some LURVEEEEEEEE for his trip! well.. i've demostrated mine by giving him a list of V-day gifts i would love to get from him when he gets back! =p

coincidentally, i met my darling girl, who is also in town meeting her friend kexin, at Starbucks. gene and i were talking and he paused and said,

him: "eh! weijie leh!"

me: "*snorts* funny~"

him: "really! behind!!"

me: turns and stared at two girls for a good 5seconds.

me: "!!!! hello~"

man was i surprised! but it was a pleasant surprise to see her.. =) and it was rather obvious that both of them have slimmed down so much(and they are petite girls to start with!) since i saw both together about more than a year back.. =x

anyway, dear and kexin decided to chill at Starbucks and chill they did! for FIVE hours! *faints* gosh.. they sure have alot to catch up! =p soon after we ran into Lu Ling at Wisma. she was TOWERING over me! goodness! even though she was weaqring heels, there was no denying her height! damn.. i hate tall girls looking down on me! (literally, physically, mentally.. ah!! whatever!!!!!!!! =()

oh! meiyi got a polo tee for me during her thai trip! thanks mei! =D will meet up with you soon!

caught one last dance with dear on sat. it was a rather interesting flim as the foreign director experimented with some rather unique ways of directing and editting. some shots reminds me of a typical DC/Marvel flim like The Hulk by Ang Lee!

i would say that the flim was unlike any other local flims i've seen (however limited that number may be...), do not expect to see a blatant advertisement of various singapore famous landmarks and attractions. the story was intended to be based in HongKong (i think) and little details gave away the fact that the flim was entirely shot in our lovely little garden city! however, i believe most singaporeans will be able to spot some familar places and even road signs! it's the realisation of the sequence of events at the end of the movie which leaves you with a satisfaction you're not expecting.
