reunion dinner

the weirdest and funniest thing happened today.


my sis wanted to watch Something's gotta give, an extremely melodramatic romance movie, only to leave 10minutes into the show.

dad was reading newspapers, i was bumming around wasting oxygen.



both of us ended up watching the entire movie.

as the lunar year of 2006 draws to an end, the age-old chinese tradition of having a reunion dinner on the eve of the new year was much fussed about by chinese all across the globe.

my family was no exception. only that we NEVER had a reunion dinner outside our doorstep, unless of course when we're in Malaysia with my maternal side of the family tree.

fortunately or unfortunately, i ain't a big fan of this lump of rather tasteless clam-food.

i still love eating a nice warm reunion dinner at the comfort of my own home where i can belch with ease! except being subjected to my sister's thousand-yard stare...

at 12 o'clock midnight!

i spent the CNY countdown at a Temple of the Fortune God! what a place to do a countdown! hahahz.. it's surprisingly fun! =D
