to the movies with her again!
today's only highlight at work will be the unit's CWO (Chief Warrant Officer), a position known to many as RSM (Regiment Sergeant Major), scream at my guys for their mistake.i tried to stand up for my own guys but was threaten with weekend extras for my "gallant" act.. &%$@#
after work, i met up with dear. finally. the last time we met was about 5days ago, which is a rather long time for us since we're used to seeing each other every2 or 3days, courtesy of my spendid working hours!
we caught the chinese romance movie Happy Birthday, which was a decision by default since there's an appalling lack of good movies. if you're asking why watch movie when we know there's no good movies in the big screen lately, the reason is simple: being tired ourselves, watching a movie is our best way to relax. =)
Happy Birthday is a movie based on a novel written by the main actress herself. the sequence of the story was told in a rather weird way, much to my confusion intiallly. you'll only get the actual sequence nearing the end of the story, but u might (like myself) still miss out on bits and pieces of the show due to the weird story-telling sequence.
the oh-too-predictable ending was expected, to put it nicely. however, i always feel a very "geng" feeling (something like feelling a sense of being wronged?) for any actors on any shows if they have to hide a secret or their pain for the good of their loved ones!
my take on it? let's just say it's definitely not worth $9.50! but i did pay $6.50 per ticket for a pair! heh...
oh! i'm really happy to see her today. it's like i finally got better from such a sucky period so it feels good to have her in my arms again. =)
