flown
dear just left for shanghai today. she'll be away for a week till 4th! contrary to the common belief that i'm be out enjoying my temporary "single status", i'm sorry but to smash all those dirty thoughts~ firstly, i'm not LIKE THAT (=p) and i'm so so utterly broke now (=x). so if, in any case, you're feeling rich and lonely.. ask me out for a hearty laugh AND a hearty meal, all duly paid for by YOU! =p
anyway, i went over to dear's place in the morning to, well.. get in her way for her last-minute preparation and packing, before heading to the airport with her family. her mom, like myself, suffered from motion sickness. =( i hate cab rides sometimes, they have this sort of "taxi smell" which really irks me and further contributes to the likelyhood of me getting car-sick. and i'm really happy and touched by one simple action of hers. =)
as we waited for time to check into the departure hall, i willed the seconds to crawl slower.
didnt work.
watching her leave was kinda hard for me. i wanted to look away the moment she stepped through the departure gates, but my gaze remained affixed on her, smiling whenever she turns back. from a tiny figure among the crowd, i watched as she disappeared among the crowd.
my heart seemed to have put on weight as i slowly stepped away.

sidenote:
i promise not to miss her so much.
it's one promise i made without
conviction.
