alright, my big day has passed. i'm officially 21.

adult.

with all these new powers and responsibilities that is thrust into my hands, all these which i yearned for since the teenage years are all within my grasp. all.

i've matured. i've grown. i've come a long way.

failure in JC. national service.

anyway, this is to give a preview of what happened to me on my 21st birthday!! =)

woke up to my mum and dad wishing me happy birthday when i was still trying to shake off the z-monster and scratching my balls. no good for my image. =x i always feel very awkward with my family on my birthday. i just dont feel comfortable being treated different in a better way. er.. am i weird? ha!

loads of my classmates wished me happy birthday! me belly touched! =) amanda wrote me this very sweet birthday card! she's really nice!

it says OLD MAN HAO, my class's nickname for me. =(

her card damn wordy! but the words are really sweet and nice! =)

best was this two cute girls from my class emily and emeline.

emeline: Zi Hao, your bday today ah? OH! Happy Bday happy bday. you wait ah. i see what i can give you from my bag.

me: huh?!

(she goes away only to return a minute later with this THING)

emeline: NAH! GIVE YOU! Happy Birthday yeah! =)

me: thank you thank you...

emily: wah eme.. let me help you add on to it..

and so first birthday present of my 21st is produced:

what kind of person keeps a disposal cup in her bag?!?! *scratcheshead*

anyway, special thanks to atiqa for helping my tell the whole world it's my birthday. and those who emailed me specially, texted me, msn me.. so on and so forth. THANKS! =)

after that i skipped two lectures to go off early to meet my two gay partners and jielin! =D gene went to fix his vacuum cleaner so i met up with yang 1st. for my birthday lunch, this is what we ate:

nabeh. my 21st birthday lunch he bring me eat KFC and it's with his coupon discount no less. that's classic yang-ness for you. -_-"

gene came. he was shocked that we're actually eating KFC on my big day. hahaz! and if you remember correctly, our Mr Tri is the fitness guru. so eating KFC for him is like asking a classic music lover to listen to repeated runs of william hung's "She Bangs".

yeah.. like kena bang lah.

we went to SMU to check out gene's school. slack around a little.

soon gene left us for his (what's new..) training session with SAFRA Running Club.

jielin came to join yang and myself after her tuition with the...

i made the choice to go dine at Fish & Co. for the benefit of those who never had the chance to eat at F&C during your birthday, here's a low down. the service and food is great BUT..

THEY FREAKING MADE ME STAND ON THIS TALL STOOL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT AND GOT THE WHOLE RESTAURANT TO SING A BIRTHDAY CHEER AND SONG FOR ME.

WAAH PIANG EH.

that was just pure awkwardness and paiseh-ness to the max man. yikes. =x
