the forked road

as of now, i'm really giving some serious thought to entering NIE after my diploma education. my choice of teaching subjects? best case scenario will be: Physical Education and Sports Science. if not, it'll be Physical Education and English (yeah, wtf i know..).

i've always enjoyed interacting with children/youths and the process of facilitating their education journey. and ultimately, making a difference in a child's/youth's life. =)

will i make a good teacher?

yesterday, for the longest time, i actually skipped training not due to factors like illness or weather. i actually went out with the "girl-in-mention" (a few posts back..), who many should know by now to be Yueshan. she's a third/final year Banking & Finance student at NTU and we happened to share a good mutual friend in ms siew ee.

we met for dinner at Thai Express and actually played a mini-game to decide who foots the bill, 'cos she's complaining that i've paid enough the last time we went out. i came up with the game which also gave us an opportunity to get to know each other better actually. =) well, i lost but still took the tab! HA!

caught the Quantum of Solace which turned out quite alright given the amount of poor reviews! Daniel Graig is really one damn garang bond and most likely the "best-bod" bond thus far! she can't stop whispering to me how suave Daniel Craig is, which i have to admit is pretty true.. =x if i'm half his calibre, i'll probably have no problems dating any girls who have graced the covers of Local Magazine CLEO.

after the movie, we shared desserts at Svensen's and chatted till late. by the time we were done, there wasn't any train service back to woodlands for me so she offered to drive me back. (yeah, she drives. go ahead and gloated about my lack of automobile you asses..) after a minor skirmish, i reluctantly relented and guided her to my place. during the drive back, we exchanged stories of our near-accidents/accidents/funny stories on the roads especially since both of us are relative greenhorns in the arena of driving.

well, if i were to sum it up. the whole date went pretty well. talked to her online later that night, asked her a few questions which she handled amicably well! i got the answers i wanted and i was impressed by her answer's depth and sensibility.

oh well, till next time! =)
