as manda put it nicely for me, "your blog is taking too long to update itself!"

that's true i guess. sometimes, while on my journey back home, i thought of so so much to blog about. but the moment i rest my sorry ass on my room chair and flip open my mac. my fingers went into a state of contortion and i struggled to put my feelings down.

today (yes, NOW.) is an classic example. but i shall make an attempt!

yesterday, like all lecture days, i had a self-declared half day and went out studying with yueshan. Oh, before everyone goes, "studying my ass ah! zi hao will probably end up studying her instead!" which was true to a certain extent. which is such an untruth as i really did managed to focus on my work!  =)

went electric-socket-hunting as both of us will required a powerpoint. sadly, we are slaves to technology and will not be able to function without our beloved laptops. combed almost all the cafes from NBL to bugis to raffles city, only to find that most place either: 

1. dont have powerpoints. 

2. got idiots, like me, hogging the powerpoints.

3. no seats.

finally found a place of choice at this newly opened Starfucks Starbucks at the furthest end of Citylink. my "little amazing race" actually got me all sweaty and smelly, i crossed my fingers and pray that she will not crinkle her nose when she gets near me. =(

soon, yueshan reached on an empty stomach and we smuggled in Macs (burger, not my laptop.) to complement the frauppacino! (is that how you spell that?) the next 5 hours was spent with her immersing into a sea of notes and me facebooking, oh wait, no, i mean tying up the loose ends of my marketing project! 

speaking of which, allow me to side-track, i'm rather pleased with the direction and development of my group's marketing project! =) now the important part is to put our ideas down for execution and seeing it through! tomorrow's the first project milestone presentation, we will only to showing our lecturer a glimpse of what's to come! HEH. power~ powder~

so after a brain-wring 4.5-5 hours later, we decided to head for dinner. not before my failed attempt to learn the game Bridge from her. i think it's too intellectual for my ah beng brain cells. nabeh chim ah tell you. =s

as i've promised, i didn't pay this time round and she treated me for both dinner and the night movie, Madagascar! the movie was awesome! love it! love the penguins especially! they never fail to crack me up! there's this super-cock penguin (the crossed-eyed one) who always kena arrowed to do the shittiest stunts.. he's my favourite!!! HA!

the short 1.5hours movie was packed with life lessons: social acceptance, family bonds, parental love, backstabbing, true love, brotherhood, friendship, communication and the list goes on and on.. whatever values mediacorp sometimes tries feebly to portray in 30/40 1-hour episodes, this movie did them to near-perfection in 90 minutes.

worth the watch? definitely! be it the quick words we exchanged during the movie or the laughter shared, i guess the company is what really made the difference. =)

i made her wear those nerdy specs for the photo! 

she got almost perfect eyesight.. lucky girl.

sent her home after the movie in spite of her frantic protests (we happened to live like 9657453489674633842.195km apart..) she wanted to drive me to the nearest mrt station but i made a quick escape! HA! damn.. i need a nice set of wheels! maybe i should have taken part in the Subaru "touch-car-till-people-drop-dead-just-to-win-car" challenge.
